We were inspired to breed Golden Mountain Dogs—a mix of Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dog—because of the incredible blend of qualities these two breeds bring together. Golden Mountain Dogs are affectionate, intelligent, and eager to please, combining the playful energy and friendliness of Goldens with the gentle, steady temperament of Berners. This crossbreed often enjoys a longer lifespan than purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs, while still carrying their beloved calm and loyal demeanor. By thoughtfully pairing these two breeds, we aim to raise well-balanced, trainable, and loving family companions that are as suited to cuddles on the couch as they are to outdoor adventures.
